A little bit about myself
I lead product marketing at FastSpring, a commerce platform that makes it easy to sell software online. I’ve spent the last few years leading product marketing and go-to-market strategy at B2B Fintech and Commerce startups.
Before that, I headed up digital marketing and growth for some well-known tech brands: HP, AT&T, Microsoft, Sage, First Data. I’m also an organizer for Startup Weekend (SF Bay Area, Fintech, Blockchain for Good, Sustainability).
I’ve led teams across many marketing disciplines including content, digital, social, analytics, and PR. So I’ve got a strong opinion about what it takes to build powerhouse teams and high-growth marketing programs.
In 2017, I started a blockchain analytics startup (Blockfund). We tracked and analyzed hundreds of blockchain projects around the world up until things started getting crazy at the start of 2018. Every investor that gave us a verbal pulled out, we ran out of money, so we sunsetted the business. It failed, but I learned a ton.
Before 2010, I was a board-certified behavior analyst. My job was to work with kids on the autism spectrum and help them modify their behavior. I was part of a team that poured over hundreds of lines of behavior data each week to help our patients achieve progress. I love geeking out on numbers. 😆
Now I’m focused on reinventing ecommerce with the FastSpring crew and delivering a PMM newsletter that’s worth the real estate in your inbox.
